“Improving the energy efficiency of KAJ by modernizing production lines, implementing thermal modernization, and investing in renewable energy sources”
The project involves carrying out works in the field of thermal modernization and replacement of production lines, along with the installation of photovoltaic panels with a total capacity of 248.05 kW, in order to improve the company’s energy performance.The scope of the project results from a thermal modernization audit and an energy efficiency audit, which identified the need for:
− insulation of the external walls of the office and production buildings,
− insulation of the flat roofs of the office and production buildings,
− replacement of windows and doors,
− replacement of the gas boiler used for heating and domestic hot water with an air-source heat pump,
− replacement of production lines A and B with new, more efficient systems, and installation of a photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 248.05 kWp.According to the results of the audits (thermal modernization and energy efficiency), the planned investment will allow for:approx. 97% savings in primary energy for the thermal modernization component,approx. 72% savings for the replacement of production lines and installation of photovoltaic panels,
in comparison to current energy consumption.In summary, the implemented ecological investment will enable a total primary energy savings of approx. 87%, which meets the requirements of the competition documentation (minimum 30%).#EUFunds #EuropeanFundsProject value: PLN 5,911,700.00
